Best Sellers 2016 Author by Bobby Adair - Survive the infection! Survive the Infected!

Following his none-too-soon reunion with his friends at the safe house, Zed is hoping things can finally fall into a stable routine, but in post-virus Austin, things are far from stable. On a mission to raid the ammunition bunkers at Camp Mabry, Zed and Murphy spot a group of the newer, naked infected, who are exhibiting some sophisticated and disturbing new behaviors, such as scouting and hunting – for them.

After a narrow escape, the two pass the home of Mr. Mays on the return trip, stirring Zed’s predictable rescuer impulse. Finding Mr. Mays dead, Zed brings fellow chain gang escapee Nico along to join the group, whose numbers have grown again, thanks to their merger with the girls on the riverboat, where the group has moved, as seems to be the safest hiding place… Or is it?

About the Author
Bobby Adair is a programmer, with a long-lived passion—and only recently fulfilled desire—for writing. "I’m just another off-white American who sits within four cube walls of a blandly unidentifiable color and stares at a computer screen trying to will esoteric snippets of code into compilings of software. Or, some might say that I’m exploring the limits of how little productive work a man can do while still managing to pay my rent, feed my dogs, and maintain the uninterrupted status of my bi-weekly compensation. At work...mostly I just stare. But I love writing books...and I hope that you enjoy Slow Burn: Torrent.

Great read!
By lightsyouonfire
I must either seriously have a problem or this installment of Slow Burn was just that amazing! I bought it this morning and devoured it in just a few hours.

I absolutely loved book 5 of the series. I bought and read the first four in just a few days back in April and was thrilled to see that the next book in the series was out! It was great to be reunited with our friends in Texas. The storytelling is well done and I couldn't tear my eyes away.

I'm not amazing at writing reviews but if you loved the first four, you won't be disappointed with this installment. There is no lack of danger, drama, blood or gore. I wish book 6 was ready, I'd get started right now!

Still Going Strong!!!
I have been waiting for this fifth book to come out, and I was not in the slightest disappointed. It is everything you expect it to be: same amazing quality, hilarious quips, characters with such realistic personality you swear you grew up with some, and all the realism a zombie apocalyptic novel needs to make it believable... not to mention all the great Austin sites that a book placed in Austin should have (Yay, Torchy's!)
I cannot possibly wait - although I guess I will have to - for this series to continue. There are few book series that I get this excited about... this one is topping the list. I read this book the moment I downloaded it (this morning), and didn't stop until it was done - other than when my boss walked into my office, of course.

For all my fellow grammar nazi's (because yes, it does affect the reading experience when there are glaring editing issues)... rest assured, that this is a smooth, easy read.

Slow Burn Just Got Gooder
By Chantell
I purchased the first 4 books in this series about 2 weeks ago and completed them in no time. I purchased Book 5 yesterday and finished it a few minutes ago and it did not disappoint. The writing is so descriptive, I could see the scenes and the action just jumps off the pages. I love the characters Zed and Murphy. They are the types of guys you want with you in rough situations. The story lines kept me captivated, turning pages wondering what would happen next. However, be prepared to shed a few tears.
